The Amalfi Coast and Cilento
From Naples, this trip takes in two stretches of coast. The first day follows the Amalfi Coast road past Furore, its houses scattered down the cliffs above a narrow inlet, Conca dei Marini, where the sfogliatella Santa Rosa pastry was first made in a convent, and Atrani, packed into a ravine beside Amalfi. The second reaches Castellabate on the Cilento coast, then turns back north to Albori, a hamlet of Vietri sul Mare, the town of painted ceramics.
