Dozza

Member of I Borghi più belli d'Italia

·

Since 1960 artists invited to the Biennale del Muro Dipinto have painted around a hundred works straight onto the house walls, turning Dozza into an open-air gallery. Above the murals rises the Rocca, given its walls by Caterina Sforza and lived in by the Malvezzi-Campeggi until 1960. The village sits on the first hills south-west of Imola, at the edge of Romagna.
