Tuscan stone villages and the Val d'Orcia

From Florence the route heads south through Lucignano, in the Val di Chiana, to Buonconvento on the edge of the Val d'Orcia. It continues to the spa village of San Casciano dei Bagni and to Cetona, then climbs Monte Amiata to Santa Fiora. The trip ends among the tuff towns of the Maremma: Pitigliano, Sovana and Montemerano.
