Perched villages above Nice
Behind the Riviera, two villages cling to the hills north-east of Nice, each looking out over a different valley. Coaraze is known for the sundials that decorate its walls, and Sainte-Agnès, about 800 metres up, looks down on Menton and the sea. The roads are narrow and full of bends, so allow plenty of time between stops.
